Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited misuse

• No unlawful activity, sanctions evasion, or facilitation of attacks.
• No abuse, harassment, or distribution of malware through services that depend on the resolver.
• No scanning of, attacks against, or attempts to compromise SecretChip infrastructure.
• No attempts to bypass filtering, rate limits, abuse controls, or access restrictions.
• No excessive automated load or traffic patterns that materially impact platform health.
• No resale of the AEGIS PDNS resolver service without prior written permission from SecretChip.

Abuse handling

SecretChip may investigate abuse reports, request context, and coordinate remediation actions with affected parties or providers.

Right to restrict, suspend, or block

SecretChip may rate-limit, restrict, suspend, or block clients that violate this policy or that materially impact the integrity of the platform or other users.

Fair-use for public endpoints

Public endpoint access is subject to reasonable use expectations. Excessive automated load may be controlled.

Lawful use expectations

Users are responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations in their relevant jurisdictions.
